What to Expect
What to Expect
- Your appointment takes about one hour, including 20–25 minutes of numbing for your comfort.
- Your provider will treat each area of your face (and neck, if included) with SkinPen.
- You will go home with a soothing biocellulose mask to use that evening, once the numbing wears off, to calm and cool your skin.
- Detailed aftercare instructions will be provided at your appointment.
Recovery
Expect redness similar to a mild sunburn for 1–2 days, followed by a few days of mild dryness or flaking. Most patients return to work and normal activities the next day. You can return to your regular skincare routine after three days.

- We recommend a series of 3 treatments spaced 4–6 weeks apart. Results continue to improve for several months as new collagen forms.
